Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or remain inactive for more than 24 months.

Good Nurseries is a directory and comparison tool. We help you find and compare nurseries, but we are not a childcare provider. Any arrangement you make with a nursery is between you and that nursery.

You may use the Site to search nurseries, send enquiries, save favourites, compare nurseries, and write reviews, subject to these terms.

Claiming a listing. You may claim your nursery's listing if you are the owner, manager, or an authorised representative. We verify claims and may request proof. False claims may result in account suspension.

Profile content. You are responsible for the accuracy of content you add to your listing (descriptions, photos, pricing, facilities). Content must not be misleading, offensive, or infringe third-party rights.

Enquiries. When a parent sends an enquiry through the Site, we forward it to you by email. You are responsible for responding promptly and professionally.

Basic listings are free. Paid plans (Plus and Pro) provide additional features such as priority search placement, review request tools, and enhanced profiles.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price until the end of their billing cycle.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you need assistance.

Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and respectful. Reviews must not contain:

• False or misleading statements
• Profanity, hate speech, or personal attacks
• Personally identifiable information about children or staff
• Spam, advertising, or promotional content
• Content that infringes intellectual property rights

We moderate all reviews before publication. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines or to temporarily hold reviews for verification. Nursery owners may respond to reviews publicly.

Nursery listings include data from public registers maintained by Ofsted (England) and the Care Inspectorate (Scotland). We update this data regularly but cannot guarantee it is always current. Inspection ratings, addresses, and registration details should be verified with the nursery directly or via the relevant regulatory body.

Google review ratings and counts are sourced from the Google Places API and are provided as-is.

The Site's design, code, branding, and original content are owned by LadyBird Capital LLC. Nursery data from public registers is Crown Copyright and used under the Open Government Licence.

By submitting content (reviews, photos, descriptions) you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Site. You retain ownership of your content and can request its removal.

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of nursery listings, ratings, reviews, or any other content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
